I still can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year… Mornings are getting chillier and Fall/Winter decorations are already up in stores. I have to say, October is the month where I get a little too excited… It means Halloween is just around the corner, Thanksgiving is only a month away, and finally Santa is coming to town! If you know me, you’d know that I start thinking about Christmas once it hits August. (It’s never too early for me…)
Last weekend, I went out on a lunch date with my mom just to catch up and see how she was doing. We talked about holiday plans and how it’s already getting so close to the end of the year. Before we know it, we’ll be home for winter break sipping hot chocolate in our fuzzy pajamas.
Thinking back, I’m not so sure I was able to accomplish the list of things I wanted to achieve in 2017. Instead, I thought I would create a short list of things I wanted to achieve before the year ends.
– Exercise On A Schedule-
I need to stay on track with my exercising. Although I have a certain routine, there are obviously days where I get lazy and don’t do as much. After coming back from a long day, the last thing I want to do is hit the gym. It has always been difficult for me to start and motivate myself to get on the treadmill. But, after I push myself to finish my sets, I feel healthier both physically and mentally. There will be sore mornings and late nights, but it is definitely time to bust out those leggings and get back to work.
-Winter Skin Care-
I think many can relate when I say that my skin gets really dry around this season. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!! I want to get into the habit of moisturizing my skin both in the morning and before I go to bed. I always think I never have time to spare to take care of my skin. But, the fact is, it doesn’t hurt to put aside 5 minutes for your skincare routine, or 10 minutes to use a face mask. I have so many face masks stacked up in my bathroom that I need to start using.
-Go Out More-
Most days, I enjoy sitting around in my room just watching a bunch of movies, dramas, and anime. I don’t really take the time to go outside and explore what’s out there. Maybe it’s time to finally call up some friends for a coffee date and go get that long overdue lunch together.
-Keep Up With Blog Content-
Since I’ve started my blog, I haven’t had a set schedule to follow. I really want to maybe start posting every two weeks. I’m usually pretty good when it comes to planning in advance, but sometimes I do wonder if a post is up to the standard I would like it to be. I don’t want writing to become like a job or a chore to me, which is why I was hesitant to incorporate a schedule. I want to be inspired when I’m writing because I see it as a creative outlet. But, I actually think writing more frequently would help me to relieve some stress. I’ve been thinking of many possible content ideas for the next few months or so that I find inspiring. It’s time to stop organizing and actually start doing!
